Located on the 7th floor of the Best Western - Franklin Square Inn, at 820 Shelden Avenue, just west of the MTU campus, the North Shore Grill and the Thirsty Fish Pub offer superior cuisine and cocktails and a view of the shipping canal, ski hill, and other surrounding bounty that's second to none.

On premise, patrons find two venues: the Shore’s dining rooms and the Thirsty Fish Pub. Guests may select the setting that suits their dining desires. Casual, comfortable, intimate:  the choice is yours. Arrays of carefully crafted entrees are offered in the dining room, while these, plus lighter fare, are offered in the Pub. The theme is American, and features steaks and seafood, plus unique "extras" including wild game and nightly specials.

Pub service includes premium cocktails, wines by glass and bottle and carefully selected beers, among these, Belgian Ales, all designed to complement the cuisine.
